Neighbors Helping Neighbors on the Main Line (NHN) stands in the gap for underrepresented families in Lower Merion Township and Greater Philadelphia, while educating and reforming the entities that serve them, creating an inclusive community where everyone has the tools they need to thrive. Enriching the lives of 1,600+ neighbors each year, NHN has become the soft landing of solutions for those who fall between the cracks of standard safety net systems. NHN offers a holistic approach to human services across three primary focus areas: Education Empowerment, Food Security, and Outreach & Resource Linkage.

Together we are healing our society and rehumanizing our world!

“I don't know what I would've done, it's truly been a financial hardship for the past few years but through it all NHN has supported with back to school supplies, food that put dinner on my family table, toiletries, summer activities, educational trips, clothing,  shoes, coats and beyond without any hesitation. I'm truly honored to have NHN, and I'm thankful!!” - Current NHN Beneficiary

“NHN is more than a nonprofit - it is a literal lifeline for these families and a beacon of hope for many enduring difficult circumstances. […] When they have had nowhere else to turn, NHN has come through many times and helped them survive another day.”

- Joanna Hawkins, NHN Volunteer
