EAT MUCH?

Some don't. In the wake of recent cuts to federal programs and in light of the impending Nov 1 pause to SNAP benefits, NHN is running a food collection campaign to prepare for the influx of food security requests that we have been experiencing. NHN's food security program currently supports over 130 local households with weekly food delivery as well as hosting a free market where beneficiaries can come and "shop" an array of fresh and shelf stable food items every Saturday. Last year, we distributed over 130,000 pounds of food! We owe it to our community partners and to the collaboration of local pantries that we are able to continue providing this support to the people who need it most in our community. Overages of certain items will be shared with other local pantries.

Amid the harrowing instability we are experiencing together as a country, and with the holiday season fast approaching, nobody should have to worry about whether or not there will be food on the table. Any funds you are able to generously donate will be used to directly purchase fresh meat and produce items for your neighbors.

Thank you for helping to build a community where everyone has the tools they need to thrive!
